SkyCable to Cignal

We have been a loyal Sky subscribers since I was in high school. But this year, we have decided to switch to Cignal because of the issues we've encountered with it. Sky loses its signal when it's raining and it would take at least an hour for the signal to go back. While Cignal also loses its signal when it is cloudy it goes back after few minutes. Plus, I do not like the rate of skycable packages. I personally think that it is not reasonable. We subscribed to their highest HD package. I was surprised to see that most of the SD channels aren't available plus not all HD channels are included. To think that I am paying more than 1500 Php per month, I think that's really expensive. The package we subscribed to with Cignal is the plan 1590 Php. The plan includes almost all of their channels (including KBS). I hope Sky would revamp their service because it can really impact their business.

Ways on Rebuilding Your Credit

Rebuilding your credit is also a question I have in mind. As I have mentioned in my previous post, I had a cancelled card before and I'm pretty sure I am now blacklisted from all banks. Now that I have learned my lesson and is starting to build my life, I want to be able to get my own house and car but without financing it'll be impossible. But how do I rebuild my credit? So far, the only answer that I have found are the following: Apply for a Secured Credit - It works the same way as a credit card but you will have to deposit funds to the bank either through savings or time deposit. Your credit limit will vary depending on the bank. RCBC, as far as I know the amount you deposited will be your credit limit 100% while with BPI or other banks, your credit limit will be at least 80 - 90% of the amount you have deposited. For more information, I suggest you visit your bank. They said that you should apply for a checking account but on the contrary I know that you will not be

Know More About ADHD

My three year old is very active. He’s everywhere and he plays as if he never runs out of energy.  Saw a show on TV last week and their topic is about “Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)”.  After watching that show, I suddenly became very concerned with my kid. What if he has it? I rushed to my partner right away telling him of what I saw and asking him to accompany me and my boy to his pedia the following day. This is because I am too paranoid. I want to make sure that my son doesn’t have it and that’s the only time that I can be at peace. The following day, my son’s doctor confirmed that he doesn’t have ADHD and that he’s just doing the normal thing a three year old does. Well honestly, ADHD is a very concerning disorder. But I found out that this is not just a childhood disorder but it can continue through adolescence. You might not be as active when you were a child but as you grow older your problem with inattention, disorganization and poor impulse continues. To

Earn Bitcoins Free

I've been looking for ways to earn money online and here's what I'm doing right now. Aside from typing captchas I am now working on earling Bitcoins through faucets. Just go give you an idea on what Bitcoin is please see below: Credit to Wikipedia . Bitcoin is a worldwide cryptocurrency and digital payment system called the first decentralized digital currency, since the system works without a central repository or single administrator. It was invented by an unknown programmer, or a group of programmers, under the name Satoshi Nakamoto and released as open-source software in 2009. The system is peer-to-peer, and transactions take place between users directly, without an intermediary. These transactions are verified by network nodes and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain. I'm using the following faucets to earn Bitcoing for free. Get your Bitcoin  - earn bitcoins every 5mins Bit Fun - you can earn almost every 5mins as well but

Ordering Food Using Paypal

Imahe
Planning to order food online using Paypal? I know it is hard to look for restaurants that accepts paypal, I on know Shakeys as the only restaurant that accepts paypal. But then I discovered that you can use Paypal in foodpanda . I was too excited to use my paypal account but then to my surprise Jollibee is not accepting paypal but I am ordering it through food panda. So I reached out to their customer service and I found out that you have to select "online payment" so that the list will only show the stores that are accepting paypal. I didn't know that because I was under the impression that they accept paypal and that's it. :) So to those who are planning to use your paypal to order food you can do that through foodpanda.

Alibijaban - Another Paradise in Quezon

Imahe
Quezon is one of my favorite places in the summer. I have been to different beaches in Quezon and because of that I am in a mission to visit ALL of the beaches in that province. I have been to Kwebang Lampas, Pulong Niyogan, Cagbalete and Alibijaban. We went to Alibijaban last summer and I must say that it is really a great place. The water is so clear and it is quite a big island which means it you will not worry that it will be too crowded especially when you plan to go there during peak season. Alibijaban is located in San Andres, Quezon.  To go to San Andres you can do the following: Ride the Barney Bus in Alabang. Schedule are  4:00am/ 5:30am/ 8:30am/ 1:00pm/ 6:30pm/ 8:30pm/ 10:00pm Superlines in Cubao.  You can contact them for their scheduled trips. +63 922 522 5192         You need to ride a boat as well to get to the island. You can contact Mang Randy (boatman) 09982758413.

Credit Card Nightmare

I remember having a credit cards 8 years ago. I was young back then I just started working roughly for 2 years and at that time I had two credit cards. It was so fun that whenever I see something I want to buy all I got to do is to give my card and that’s it. But little did I know that a credit card is like a double-edge sword. It can make you happy but if you can’t discipline yourself it will eat you alive LOL! I know I am exaggerating but I remember what it feels like to be a victim of debts. Actually, I cannot call myself a victim because I have bought this upon me. Anyway, I got numbers of calls from Collections Company and sometimes it is not enough that you will see a collector in front of your doorstep. My mom was so scared that she called me at work. She said that the guy informed her that they will take some of our stuff at home as payment for my debt. Since I have no idea whether what he’s taking is true, I got scared and I ended up having nightmares. I was too afraid that I

US Visa Application Experience - B1/B2

I am very lucky this year for I was asked by my company to go to the US to attend training for 6 weeks. At first I thought the process is very complicated and I was very nervous of the visa interview. But to my surprised everything went smoothly. I want to share my experience and I hope someone out there will find my post useful. First, you have to secure all of the important documents such as invitation letter, Statement of Account, COE, and of course your passport. I suggest, that you prepare documents that you can use as proof that you will go back to the Philippines. In my case, I had to include my car registration, bank account and even my son’s birth certificate that way I can show it to the consul as proof that I have enough reason to go back home. Before you schedule your interview, you will have to pay for your Visa Application first. I remember paying 8160 Php for my visa application.  Fill out the DS-160 form in the USCIS website. Then once you are done, you will have t

Dohan's Jollibee Kiddie Party

Imahe
My son turned 3 last week. This is the first time we've celebrated a party at Jollibee and I must say that everything is worth-it. I'm very busy so I had to sign-up for a party outside where I can be free of all the hassle when celebrating your kid's party at your own place. My son enjoyed the party as well as all our guests. I even rented a photobooth so it'll be more fun. We celebrated the party at Jollibee UP Philcoa. The venue can accommodate up to 90 persons. The package I took was the one with chicken, spaghetti, fries, sundae and drinks it is worth 198 Php. The party package I selected was worth 2000 Php. They have two party packages 1500 and 2000. Both consists of the following: 30 Name tags 30 Balloons 20 game prices 15 party hats 15 Invitation cards 15 tray liners 5 boxes of crayons 1 Message board Jollibee Mascot Appearance The only difference between the two is that the 2000 package includes 10 lootbags. Their lootbags is actually good for it
